We only email when there is something real to share. We do not sell personal information, and we never use your information to train AI models. 4\. Sharing ### Service providers We use a small number of providers to run the site. Each only receives what it needs: - **Vercel** — hosting and content delivery. - **Supabase** — database and authentication (waitlist, health-check submissions, accounts). - **Resend** — transactional email (waitlist confirmations). - **Google (Gemini API)** — generates the AI Health Check result from your questionnaire answers. Some of these providers store data outside Australia (for example in the United States). We may also disclose information where required by law. 5\. Retention ### How long we keep it Waitlist and health-check records are kept until the related product launches or you ask us to delete them. Account data is kept while your account is active. Server logs are retained for a short period by our hosting provider. 6\. Security ### How we protect it Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest with our providers. Access is restricted to the people who need it to run Aramuna. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. 7\. Your rights ### Access, correction and deletion You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to remove you from a waitlist, at any time. It has no public API: agents should send users to the form rather than submitting on their behalf. Versioning ### Versions and errors The API is versioned in the URL path. Use `/api/v1/…`. A breaking change ships under a new prefix (`/api/v2/…`) and the previous version keeps working for at least six months after its successor is announced. The unversioned `/api/…` paths are the same endpoints, kept for this site's own forms. Every error is JSON. Endpoint errors use `{ "error": "…" }`; an unknown path under `/api/` returns `404` as RFC 9457 `application/problem+json` with `title`, `status`, `detail` and a link back to these docs. Information We Collect #### Account Information When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. You may optionally provide a display name. #### Journal Content Your journal entries, including text, mood selections, tags, and titles, are stored securely in our database. This content is yours — we never sell it, share it with third parties, or use it to train AI models. #### Voice Recordings If you use the voice journaling feature, audio recordings are temporarily uploaded for transcription. Once transcribed, the text is saved as a journal entry. Audio files are stored in your private storage bucket and are only accessible by you. #### Images If you use the photo scanning feature, images are temporarily uploaded for text extraction (OCR). Extracted text is saved as journal content. Images are stored in your private storage bucket and are only accessible by you. #### Usage Data We collect basic analytics such as mood trends and journaling streaks to power your personal statistics. This data is associated with your account and is never shared externally. ### 2\. AI Processing & Personalization #### How AI Reflections Work Your journal entries are processed by third-party AI services (Google Gemini) to generate reflections, mood analysis, and entity extraction. We use API configurations that opt out of model training — your words are never used to train or improve AI models, by us or by any third party. #### How Your Experience Improves Over Time Zenith builds a personal profile within your account based on your journaling patterns — your interests, values, communication style, and current goals. This profile, along with summaries of your recent weeks and mood trends, is used as context when generating reflections. This means the more you journal, the more relevant and personal your reflections become. This personalization is entirely private to your account. Your profile is never shared with other users, used to improve anyone else's experience, or fed into any model training pipeline. It exists solely to make your own reflections more meaningful. #### What We Do Not Do - We do not train AI models on your journal entries - We do not share your data with AI providers for training purposes - We do not use your entries to improve reflections for other users - We do not sell or license any data derived from your journals ### 4\. Data Storage & Security Your data is stored on Supabase, a secure cloud platform. We implement: - Row-Level Security (RLS) ensuring you can only access your own data - Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit - Secure password hashing - Private storage buckets for your media files ### 5\. Data Sharing We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. AI-Generated Content Zenith Journal uses AI (Google Gemini) to generate reflections, insights, mood analysis, and extract entities from your journal entries. This AI-generated content is provided for personal reflection purposes only and should not be considered professional advice — including but not limited to medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. AI-generated reflections may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or not relevant to your situation. You should always use your own judgement and seek professional help when needed. ### 6\. Subscriptions & Payments Zenith Journal may offer premium features through paid subscriptions. If you purchase a subscription: - Payment is processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system - Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period - You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings - Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies ### 7\. Service Availability We strive to keep Zenith Journal available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime. ### 8\. Account Deletion You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. Your journal entries are encrypted in transit, protected by row-level security, and never shared with third parties. Only you can access your data. If you find certain styles helpful, the AI leans into them. If you mark something as unhelpful, it adjusts its approach. This feedback also shapes your personal profile over time. #### How do I use voice journaling? Tap the microphone icon when creating a new entry. Record your thoughts, and Zenith will transcribe the audio into a journal entry. The recording is stored privately in your account. ### Report a Bug Found something that doesn't work as expected?
