Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective 22 August 2026. This policy explains how Aramuna (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, collects, uses and protects personal information on www.aramuna.com. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Scope

What this policy covers

This policy applies to the www.aramuna.com website, our product waitlists, the AI Health Check, and accounts created on this site. Our mobile apps have their own policies — for example the Zenith Journal Privacy Policy.

2. Collection

Information we collect

  • Waitlist sign-ups — your email address and the product you joined (Zenith Journal, CarePlate, Burlit or DriveMate).
  • AI Health Check — your answers to the questionnaire and, if you provide them, your name, company and email address.
  • Accounts — your email address and a securely hashed password if you create an account.
  • Correspondence — anything you send us by email.
  • Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested pages) kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on this site.

3. Use

How we use it

  • To confirm your waitlist place and tell you when a product is ready for you.
  • To generate and send your AI Health Check result, and to follow up if you asked us to.
  • To operate your account.
  • To answer your questions and improve our products and services.
  • To keep the site secure, including rate limiting and abuse prevention.

We only email when there is something real to share. We do not sell personal information, and we never use your information to train AI models.

4. Sharing

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the site. Each only receives what it needs:

  • Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
  • Supabase — database and authentication (waitlist, health-check submissions, accounts).
  • Resend — transactional email (waitlist confirmations).
  • Google (Gemini API) — generates the AI Health Check result from your questionnaire answers.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia (for example in the United States). We may also disclose information where required by law.

5. Retention

How long we keep it

Waitlist and health-check records are kept until the related product launches or you ask us to delete them. Account data is kept while your account is active. Server logs are retained for a short period by our hosting provider.

6. Security

How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest with our providers. Access is restricted to the people who need it to run Aramuna. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to remove you from a waitlist, at any time. Email hello@aramuna.com from the address you used with us. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

8. Cookies

Cookies and local storage

We store your light/dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage. If you sign in, our authentication provider stores a session token so you stay signed in. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Changes

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date above. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@aramuna.com or via our contact page.
