Do I need a journaling system?
No templates or folders are required. Write about your day, add a mood or tag if you want, and let your entries build into your own record over time.
What is free, and what is Premium?
Journaling is free. Premium adds AI features including reflections, Insights and Actions, with a 14-day free trial. The current Australian price is A$4.99 a month after the trial; check the App Store for the price and terms in your region.
What happens to my entries when I use AI?
Content needed for AI features is sent to Google Gemini. Your personal profile and recent context help make your results relevant; this is personalization, not training a model on your entries. Google’s paid API terms do not use prompts or responses to improve AI models, though limited retention can apply for abuse monitoring and legal purposes. Read the full privacy policy.
Is everything stored on my phone?
No. Supabase stores your account and journal data in the cloud. Connections are encrypted in transit, and account access controls protect journal records from other users. AI features also use Google Gemini. See storage and service-provider details.
Can I export or delete my journal?
Use Export Journal Data in Settings where available, or contact info@aramuna.com to request your data. Delete Account is also in Settings. Completed deletion removes your data from live services; backup, diagnostic and AI-provider retention exceptions are explained in the privacy policy.
Can I speak instead of typing?
Yes. Tap the microphone when creating an entry. Speech recognition can run on-device when supported. Cloud transcription uses Google Gemini where your plan and AI preference allow it. Find voice-journaling help.
