Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Zenith Journal. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at info@aramuna.com.

3. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Zenith Journal, including journal entries, voice recordings, and images. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the App's features to you — including AI-powered reflections, mood analysis, entity extraction, and transcription. This license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable (by deleting your content or account).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or services
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the App

5. AI-Generated Content

Zenith Journal uses AI (Google Gemini) to generate reflections, insights, mood analysis, and extract entities from your journal entries. This AI-generated content is provided for personal reflection purposes only and should not be considered professional advice — including but not limited to medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

AI-generated reflections may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or not relevant to your situation. You should always use your own judgement and seek professional help when needed.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Zenith Journal may offer premium features through paid subscriptions. If you purchase a subscription:

• Payment is processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Zenith Journal available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings. When you delete your account:

• All journal entries, media files, and personal data are permanently deleted
• AI-generated insights and your personal profile are removed
• This action is irreversible

We may also suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aramuna shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer

Zenith Journal is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App and updating the effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
